Welcome to Mount Water Bikes!
Located on the beautiful shores of Pilot Bay, Mount Maunganui,
we are a locally owned & locally operated, water bike rental business.
Our water bikes are suitable for all ages and sit 3 people comfortably.
Perfect for families, dates, birthdays, anniversaries, teenagers, team building sessions, or anyone looking to pedal out in Pilot Bay for some fun amidst stunning views of the extinct volcano, Mauao.
Come along and soak in the scenery, experiencing Mt. Maunganui like never before.
Why not bring a picnic and park up at the beach for the day,
or stop in for half an hour on your way up the Mount.
We take group bookings - why not take your team out for a laugh,
or maybe your treat your wedding guests and get some super cool photos.
You can find us on The Mall, opposite Commons Ave,
just a 5 minute walk from Mount Mainstreet & Main Beach.

Aqua trikes -$30.00 for 30 minutes
Our aqua trikes are suited for up to 2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children. These tractor like bikes are fun and easy to operate while you pedal your way around the beautiful Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui. They are a great activity for all ages and makes for some pretty cool stories and photo ops! Round your friends up, hire two or three and have races on the water!
You must be 12 years old to be able to operate our trikes without an adult. We supply life jackets of all sizes.
Max weight 250kg. Please note - prices are per boat for 30 minutes, not per person.
